Both numbers are printed on one small metal plate. Scag doesn't fix it in the same spot on every machine, so check these four places:

1. 1The serial number plate is located on the right side on the frame. Lift the seat to locate the serial number plate.
2. 2Take a seat and look down to your right, where the frame rail runs past the controls.
3. 3Check the frame behind the seat, in the gap ahead of the engine.
4. 4Walk-behinds and stand-ons carry it near the engine — check the rail alongside it, or the section that joins it to the hydraulic pump.
